LR101FC - Progress December 2009
Getting to know the LT95 Gearbox intimately, lack of oil flow has damaged the mainshaft and its front and rear bearings. The main shaft has been rotating in the rear main bearing, the source of the gearbox noise on back off. Aquired a spare RR one to practice on and for parts. Oil pump shaft was broken, rest looks OK. The intermediate shaft was stuffed though.
